Fast and Furious 5 gets a title and release date

A number of years back I was introduced to a movie which blew my socks off and changed my opinion on one of Hollywood's overlooked actors, the film was The Fast And The Furious and the actor was Vin Diesel, who exploded on to the screen at over 100 mph. I saw this film on opening day out of pure interest and it won me over. It also got me into a conversation with a random stranger about how cool the movie really was. The franchise continued on with 2 Fast 2 Furious, Tokyo Drift and Fast And Furious, which reunited the main cast from the first film.

Expect to reave your engines up again as a 5th installment is being planned to hit in 2011. The new film will be titled, Fast Five, which reunites Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. It's rumored we will see them on the run from the law.

This is exciting news. All we need now is a sequel to the Riddick movies as well as his rumoured return to the xXx franchise and I may be able to finally forgive Vin Diesel for the career move that was The Pacifier.
