Kevin Smith hits Warner Bros

Kevin Smith's next project is a comedy-drama called Hit Somebody. As far as I know, the plot is about a guy named Buddy who wants to be a great hockey player, but has no real talent on the ice. The only thing Buddy is really good at, is hitting people.

Warner Bros hired Smith to direct Cop Out, Starring Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan, which will be released in a few months. Due to working with the studio, WB will be the first to get the pitch on Hit Somebody.

I'm really hoping WB do pick this project up. Smith seems pretty damn excited when he talks about Hit Someday or even his passion for hockey in general on Smodcast.
